We celebrate 500 years of the world’s first circumnavigation, achieved by Juan Sebastián de Elkano. To celebrate the anniversary, the ELKANO ITSAS HERRIA Cultural Project will travel the Basque Coast from the end of May and until September.
In three months, the Patache Juanita Larando will travel the Basque coast, visiting about thirty locations, including Plentzia from June 19 to 22th. During the days that the patache is anchored in port, citizens will have the possibility to join activities and learn to navigate in the boat.
